First to 6, or 6-0 shutout
Straight 6 is first to 6 wins. The set can end 6-5. 6 Love is the shutout. You need 6-0. If the other side scores, the match resets. Same double-six table: partners opposite, play counter-clockwise.
4-0 Cutthroat Shutout
La Chiva (in the DR, known as El Blanqueo) is a 4-0 cutthroat shutout. Same reset mechanic as 6 Love: when a player at 0 wins, everyone resets to 0. First to 4 wins with at least one opponent at 0. Capicú and Chuchazo award 2 wins instead of 1 (The Jump).
Partners, first to 500 pts
Quinientos is the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico staple that shifts from counting wins to accumulating pips. Earn points each round based on the tiles left in the losing team's hands. Mano rotates each round. The winner does not pose.
Partners, first to 200 pts
Doscientos is the short-game cousin of Quinientos, played in the same Dominican and Puerto Rican partnership tradition. Same partnership rules, same mano rotation, but pips round to the nearest 10 and Paso bonuses reward the team that forces their opponents to pass.
